Featuring Stags' Leap Viognier
Viognier Spritzer with Blood Orange, Lemon, and Mint
Our Viognier is lively and vibrant, leaping from the glass with the variety’s classic stone fruit characters alongside a fragrant floral bouquet. While fantastic on its own, every now and then we like to add seasonal ingredients to create a bubbly spritzer. This stunning wine cocktail matches the floral notes from the viognier, and citrus from the blood orange with the tang of lemon juice, making a balanced, delicious flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 750ml bottle of Stags' Leap Viognier, 6 ounces per serving
- 1 fresh blood orange, 2 slices per serving
- 1 fresh lemon, 1 slice per serving
- Fresh mint, 2 sprigs per serving
- 1 bottle of club soda, 3 ounces per serving
Instructions
- Add Viognier to a wine glass.
- Add fresh blood orange and lemon pieces cut into small slices and add to glass.
- Gently press the fruit with a muddler or spoon to release juice.
- Rub sprigs of fresh mint between your palms then add to glass.
- Top with club soda.
- Give the glass a gentle swirl and enjoy.
