A dark and deep red ruby, the Stags’ Leap 2023 Limited Edition Cabernet Sauvignon is rich and complex with shimmering facets of ripe red fruit, warm baking spice, and earthy, herbal, and floral tones. Cinnamon and luscious cassis, raspberry, and bright cherry scents greet the nose, while shadow notes of forest fern, violet, and button mushroom emerge and invite lingering appreciation. The beautifully balanced palate conveys a classic Cabernet character, capturing a bounty of red and black currant, pomegranate, blueberry, and black plum flavors with supple, twined tannins, buoyed by a bright acid tension to a shining, red fruit finish buffed with touches of sage and milk chocolate.
