Vintage 2013
Wine Type White
Varietal Chardonnay
Winemaker Christophe Paubert

Bright and complex, with beautiful aromatics of lemon zest, crisp and creamy white peach and fresh tangerine.

The 2013 Barrel Selection Chardonnay was crafted with grapes grown in the Carneros appellation in southern Napa Valley. Sourced from vineyards located in close proximity to the San Pablo Bay, where fog helps to cool the vineyard throughout the growing season, the Chardonnay fruit exhibits crisp fruit flavors and bright acidity.

Vintage Notes

The 2013 vintage began with a warm, dry spring that brought early bud break and created ideal conditions for flowering and fruit set. With no surprises throughout the growing season, temperatures were consistently favorable and even, resulting in notably healthy vines as fruit went through veraison and started ripening. The overall dry season made for an early and condensed harvest, and was ideal for producing fresh Chardonnay.
