“I would open a bottle of 2018 "The Leap" Cabernet Sauvignon. 2018 was a bountiful vintage with quantity and quality, after the Stags' Leap district of Napa Valley enjoyed a stunning, near picture perfect growing season in the vineyards. After good winter rains, a mild spring weather followed, with steady temperatures throughout that allowed for an even bud break and flowering. These ideal weather conditions were followed by a cool and even summer that delivered deep color, flavor complexity and richness, with bright and refreshing acidity. Ideal vintage that made everyone happy, from Growers, winemakers, and wine collectors all together.
The Leap is a selection of our best Cabernet Sauvignon barrels from the Stags' Leap Winery Estate that exemplifies the unique personality of the Stags' Leap district vineyards, delivering wines with richness, depth, elegance, and finesse. This wine will be a great companion to pair with grilled steak, roasted lamb, meat stew; cassoulet, or any of your favorite wild mushroom pizza! Cheers!”
